Congratulations Graduates: Beatrice Rejouis & Mahathi Mohan Gowda, class of 2021!

This post is overdue but a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Beatrice and Mahathi, two undergraduate researchers who have done a phenomenal job in the lab for the past two years, and who graduated this May from NJIT! They overcame difficulties imposed by the pandemic to successfully complete their studies, and we are very excited to follow their future endeavors. Beatrice majored in Biology and Mahathi in Forensic Science. In the short term, both students are finishing first author papers based on their research! We celebrated outdoors on campus to send them off and managed to get a socially distanced photo with a portion of the lab. From left to right: Dr. Kevin Christie, Nikitha Pappachen, Beatrice Rejouis, Mahathi Mohan Gowda, Haider Zaki, Ilona Cazorla-Morales, Dr. Kristen Severi (thanks Haider for the excellent photography!). Missing were: Zainab Tanvir, Alfred Amendolara, Pranati Ambati, and Aryan Mahajan.
